Bullying or school-based harassment is a burning issue that particularly takes place dur-ing the children´s developmental stages that cover the end of their infancy and begin-ning of their adolescence. The victims that have been bullied suffer serious consequenc-es that can be shown on the different academic, psychological and social aspects of their lives. The main aim of this project is to assess the efficiency of the individual intervention based on a Brief Therapy Focused on Solutions for a 15-year-old teenager who has been bullied. The intervention was carried out for six one-hour sessions. The instruments of assess-ment were interviews, a projective test on the family, the Self-esteem Scale, inventories on depression and anxiety and a questionnaire on suicide. I worked on applying those techniques resulting from the BTFS in order to promote positive thoughts and deal with dysfunctional emotions and thoughts. Finally, with my intervention I aimed at motivat-ing the teenager in order to make a change and start targeting for the pursued achieve-ments. The final results on the intervention on the adolescent showed a significant increase in his own self-esteem and more positive self-concept thoughts. The teenager also experi-enced a great change in his dysfunctional thoughts which turned into more adaptive ones. He also improved his ability to manage negative emotions and identify them as such. He experienced an increase in his own level of motivation to change in a positive way and a higher level of interaction in his family, school and social context.
