EL DOLOR DE HOMBRO OCUPA UN LUGAR DESTACADO EN LAS CONSULTAS MÉDICAS POR ALTERACIONES DEL APARATO LOCOMOTOR. UNA DE LAS CAUSAS DEL DOLOR DE HOMBRO ES LA CAPSULITIS RETRÁCTIL, QUE ES UN PROCESO QUE SE CARACTERIZA POR LA INFLAMACIÓN Y RETRACCIÓN DE LA CÁPSULA ARTICULAR, CAUSANDO DOLOR Y RESTRICCIÓN DE LOS MOVIMIENTOS DEL HOMBRO. SEGÚN DIFERENTES AUTORES, EL TIEMPO ESTIMADO PARA LA RECUPERACIÓN ES DE ENTRE 24 Y 30 MESES
